Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the warranty on a Bob Block Fitness service
visit?
A: Bob Block Fitness service repairs are warranted for 30 days from the date
of completion of the repair. This warranty only applies to the specific issue
addressed during the repair. Additional warranties may apply depending on the
manufacturer of the parts. Original product warranties are not affected by services
performed during the original warranty period.
Q: What makes up a service visit and what will the
technician do in my home?
A: Most equipment performance issues can be quickly diagnosed by our expert
technicians. We will do our best to diagnose over the phone so we can come prepared
with any necessary parts. Once in your home we will first address the primary
issue and then we will clean, lubricate, and make a few simple adjustments relative
to the machine as recommended by the manufacturer. If a special replacement
part is needed, upon approval from the customer, we will order the part immediately
and provide an estimated time of service completion. A service visit is completed
only when the required parts are properly installed. Payment is due in full
upon completion of the service visit.
Q: Why are two people sometimes needed for a single
service visit?
A: Sometimes, a two man team is the most cost-effective choice. Heavy items
often require two people. Some assembly work may require one person to hold
a piece as the other tightens nuts and bolts. It is better to have two people
work efficiently for an hour rather than having a single person struggle alone
for 3 hours.
Q: What brands can Bob Block Fitness service?
A: We can generally service every brand available to the extent the manufacturer
still makes parts. Even if the parts are no longer made, we can attempt to repair
or replace parts from current models that are similar.
